FAQs

If I'm not home, can you still collect my dog?

Yes! If you are able to leave us a key in a secure location, or if you are able to leave your pup in a secure location where we can access them we are happy to pick them up & drop them off while you are out.

What conditions must my dog meet?

Any behavioral problems your dog may have must be disclosed to us, and any dogs that exhibit hostility against humans or other dogs will not be accepted.

We ask that you supply your dog's harness, collar, and lead. We require that your dog be de-sexed, vaccinated, and current on flea and worm treatments.

If your dog is not desexed and you would like to book in a service please get in contact with us.

How long is each session?

If you book in for a half day adventure we are out for 3-4 hours with a break in between.

If you book in for a full day adventure we are out for 7-8 hours with breaks in between.

Are you walking the entire time?

We prioritize the well-being and safety of our furry friends above all else. While we understand the importance of exercise, we do not conduct continuous 3-4 or 7-8 hour walks due to the potential risk of heatstroke and exhaustion, particularly during warmer weather.

Instead, we have developed a careful and thoughtful approach to ensure that each dog gets the appropriate amount of exercise and playtime without compromising their health. Our walks are broken up into manageable 30-minute intervals, during which the dogs get to explore, stretch their legs, and engage in physical activity. We also incorporate regular breaks and playtime sessions in between these intervals to keep them refreshed and hydrated.

Our goal is to provide a safe and enjoyable experience for every dog in our care. We believe that this structured approach allows us to strike a balance between exercise and rest, ensuring that your furry companions stay happy and healthy. If you have any questions or concerns about our walking routines, please don't hesitate to reach out. Your dog's well-being is our top priority.

Are you insured?

Yes! We are fully insured and hold a Public Liability cover for dog walking up to $5,000,000.

What if my dog cannot go off lead?

That is perfectly fine! For the safety of your dog we don't usually take the dogs off lead unless we are in a completely secure area with no other dogs around and we have worked with recall with your pup. If you would like your dog to remain on lead at all times just let us know!

Will I receive updates on my dog?

Absolutely! We post pictures and videos on our Instagram story throughout the day. We also send you videos and pictures of what your pup got up too throughout the day before we drop them back to you!

Do you go to dog parks?

No. Due to the unpredictability of other dogs at dog parks we tend to stay away. The only time we would venture into one is if we were walking past and there were no other dogs present.

Will you feed my dog?

We do offer reward based training and treats during our walk (unless asked otherwise) however if your dog requires any other feeding please let us know!

Is my information kept confidential?

Absolutely! We take the confidentiality of property and personal details very seriously.

Which days do you operate?

We walk from Monday-Friday.

What time will my dog be collected?

We pick up your pooches between 9-9:30 for our morning sessions and 12:30-1 for our afternoon sessions.

What style of training do you use?

We use reward based training for your pups to ensure their time with us is enjoyable and delicious!

What if my dog cannot eat treats?

Not to worry at all! We understand some pups have dietary requirements and allergies so if there is anything your dog cannot eat while we're walking you just need to let us know!
